A Commitment To The Community We Live And Work In.

Farella Braun + Martel believes pro bono work is good for our community and good for our lawyers. We encourage our attorneys to give back to their community by providing legal representation to individuals and organizations who have limited means or access to legal services. Farella Braun + Martel treats pro bono matters like any other case in the office, applying the same skills and standards that apply to billable work, and the hours worked on approved pro bono matters are treated as billable hours. As one attorney with the firm observed, "My pro bono appellate work, which included an argument before the Ninth Circuit as an associate, not only provided me with a valuable experience, but great personal satisfaction from knowing I was helping someone who would otherwise have no access to legal assistance.
