Farella Braun + Martel’s Sandra Kearney Appointed to San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 30, 2006):   Farella Braun + Martel partner Sandra Kearney Edwards has been appointed to the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce's mission is to attract, develop and retain business in San Francisco. The Board of Directors sets the strategic direction of the Chamber and oversees the finances of the organization. The Board serves as a sounding board for ideas and policies, and reflects the thinking of a broad spectrum of businesses in San Francisco.

Ms. Edwards, who joined Farella Braun + Martel in 1996, maintains a complex litigation practice with an emphasis on environmental and construction law. She heads Farella Braun + Martel's Product Law practice.  Ms. Edwards has significant trial experience in state and federal court, both as a former prosecutor and in her litigation practice.  She currently serves as co-chair of the ADR Subcommittee of the Environmental Litigation Committee (ABA Section of Litigation). She earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco in 1991 and her A.B. from Occidental College in 1988.
